(AGI). The Apache Plastics property is
located at 2050 East Fremont Street in Stockton.
In the Work Plan, AGI proposes to destroy wells MW-24, IW-3, VEW-2, and EW-1
because destruction of these wells is needed to allow for expansion of the hardware
store operating on the property. AGI also requested termination of the Notice of
Applicability (NOA) coverage under General Order R5-2015-0012 and termination of the
associated Monitoring and Reporting Program, R5-2015-0012-028 (MRP). Also in the
Work Plan, AGI proposed a reduced groundwater monitoring program.
Central Valley Water Board staff has the following comments:
1. Central Valley Water Board staff will send a response in a separate letter
regarding the request for termination of NOA coverage under General Order
R5-2015-0012 and the associate MRP.
2. Central Valley Water Board staff concurs with destruction of wells MW-24, IW-3,
VEW-2, and EW-1 to allow for development of the property. Please submit a
well destruction report by 31 May 2022. You must comply with all applicable
local, county, and state requirements for proper destruction of these wells.
Please provide me with at least three working days' notice prior to field activities
to allow me the opportunity to observe the well destructions.
DENISE KADARA, ACTING CHAIR I PATRICK PULUPA, EXECUTIVE OFFICER
11020 Sun Center Drive#200, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 1 www.waterboards.ca.gov/centralvalley
