2. Set the three indoor air sample canisters at an approximate breathing height(e.g.three to five <br /> feet above ground) by mounting the canister on a stable platform,consistent with outdoor air <br /> sampling protocols. <br /> 3. Open the Summa canister sampling port and allow for the canister to fill for the set 8 hour <br /> period.The sampling progress should be verified by checking the canister vacuum at least once <br /> during the sampling duration. Do not let the canister vacuum reach zero (0),sample collection <br /> should be stopped between 3 and of 5 inches of vacuum remaining in the canister. <br /> 4. Upon completion of the 8-hour collection period, close the Summa canister intake valve, <br /> record the final vacuum pressure, re-package the cannister for shipping, and send to the <br /> laboratory with the completed chain of custody form for volatile organic compound (VOC) <br /> analysis by EPA Method TO-15-SIM. <br /> Samples will be analyzed by EPA Method TO-15-SIM in a California certified laboratory.
