Main Street, Stockton, CA 95202
Dear Ms. Boudreau:
ATOM, LLC (ATON) is pleased to submit this proposal to conduct a Phase II Limited Site
Investigation (LSI) for the referenced property. This proposal represents ATON's recommended
scope of work based on ATON's Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) dated October 1,
2021, and our extensive technical knowledge of the site and surrounding area.
The goal of the Phase II LSI will be to conduct a general survey of identified Recognized
Environmental Conditions (RECs), to gather additional information to close the data gaps
provided in the previous reports, and to determine the presence or absence of contaminants
of concern (COCs). The following RECs were identified in ATON's Phase I ESA:
Historical city directories indicate that several former clothes cleaners and laundromats
were present adjacent to the subject property dating back to the early 1900s. This
includes properties at 509 and 604 East Market Street, 26 and 38 South American Street,
and 515 East Main Street. No additional information was reported, and the sites are
absent from any regulatory databases. The potential presence of hazardous substances
to the groundwater and subsurface soil from the historical adjacent land use as
drycleaners represents a REC.
Scope of Work
Prior to any subsurface work and commencing site activities, ATON will ensure the drilling
subcontractor contacts the California One -Call utility locate service (California 811) and
Cis lvf.
