Hazelton Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> Via Email: jwonq�a sjgov.orq <br /> Subject: Well Destruction Work Plan <br /> ZACKY FARMS (FORMER) <br /> 1111 Navy Drive, Stockton, California <br /> Mr. Wong: <br /> At the request of Mr. Brendan Judge of One Link LLC, AdvancedGeo, Inc. (AGI) has <br /> prepared this Well Destruction Work Plan (Work Plan) for the destruction of a total of <br /> three (3) groundwater monitoring wells at 1111 Navy Drive, Stockton, California (site). <br /> The groundwater monitoring wells are single-completed with 2-inch diameter well casings <br /> in 8-inch diameter boreholes. The site and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure <br /> 1. Structures, soil borings and well locations are illustrated in Figure 2. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> It is our understanding that three (3) monitoring wells were installed at the site as part of <br /> wastewater discharge pond monitoring. The wells are reportedly 2-inch diameter, 30-foot <br /> deep, PVC casing wells. The wells are located on the northeast portion of the subject <br /> property. <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has indicated that the <br /> well must be properly destroyed, under well destruction permit and following the <br /> standards outlined for well destruction in San Joaquin County (San Joaquin County Well <br /> Standards, February 2005). <br /> PROCEDURES <br /> As required, a health and safety plan will be prepared in accordance with Occupational <br /> Safety and Health Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities (National <br /> 837 Shaw Road - Stockton,CA 95215 <br /> Telephone (800) 511-9300 - Fax(888) 445-8786 <br />
