The location of MW-1 is shown in the attached <br />map. <br /> <br />The existing standpipe piezometer monitoring well, MW-1, consists of a 2-inch PVC installed to a <br />depth of 50 feet. The MW-1 boring log and well diagram are also attached. MW-1 will be over- <br />drilled and grouted immediately upon completion of drilling in accordance with DWR Standards <br />by backfilling the borehole using a neat cement grout mix with a water to cement ratio of 3 gallons <br />of water per 47-lb sack of cement using a tremie pipe. <br /> <br />Kleinfelder has secured Geo -Ex Subsurface Exploration for the destruction of the existing <br />piezometer MW-1. The work is scheduled for October 19, 2021. A permit application for the <br />monitoring well abandonment is attached. <br /> <br />County fees of $621.92 ($456.00 Environmental Assessment + $152.00 Monitoring Well <br />Destruction permit fee + $13.92 convenience fee) were paid online on October 4, 2021 with <br />confirmation number 132700377.
