Reseeding and Erosion Control <br /> The condition of the vegetative cover of Forward Landfill has been evaluated <br /> and areas that require reseeding or areas that seeding has not been required <br /> and now are, have been scheduled for early fall. Hydro-seeding will be done <br /> by Sand Castle Hydroseeding. <br /> 2. Drainage <br /> Non-contact water will be directed to The Non-Contact Water Sediment <br /> Pond located on the North Side of the South Fork of Little Johns Creek in the <br /> South West Comer of Forward Landfill. Non-Contact water is delivered to <br /> the pond through a series of underground piping,ditches,catch basins and <br /> pump stations. Non-contact water is held in the Sediment Pond until it is <br /> sampled and analyzed in accordance with Forward Landfill's Stormwater <br /> Monitoring Plan,then discharged to the South Fork of Little John's Creek. A <br /> log is kept on site recording the volume of storm water discharged to the <br /> South Fork of Little John's Creek. <br /> The southern toe ditch that carries non-contact water along the southern <br /> perimeter to the clean water pond will be cleaned. Down drains have been <br /> extended to accommodate the higher elevations. <br />
