Response: Section 7.8, Traffic Control, has been revised to indicate traffic flow at the <br /> site. <br /> Comment 10: Site Plan Drawings 2, 3, 4, 5, and Figure 3; The site plan lacks delineation <br /> of buffer zones as required by Title 27 CCR Section 21600(1)(b). <br /> Response: No buffer areas are planned for the Forward Landfill. The Site Plan <br /> (Drawing 2) does show the easement for the South Fork of South Little <br /> Johns Creek. Set backs from the property line to the refuse limits are <br /> shown on Drawing 4, Final Grading Plan, and vary from 54 to 245 feet. <br /> This is discussed in Section 2.2, Site Location and Facility Overview. <br /> Comment 11: Volume Capacity for the site found in Appendix C are not Certified by a <br /> registered civil engineer or registered geologist as required by Title 27 <br /> CCR Section 21600(3)(b). <br /> Response: The volume capacity calculations included in Appendix C are now <br /> certified by a registered civil engineer. <br /> Comment 12: Supervisory Structure Pages 6-2 & 6-3; The supervisory structure lacks <br /> names of the supervisors that will operate the site as required by Title 27 <br /> Section 21600(b)(5)(1). <br /> Response: Section 6.2.2 - Management Structure, has been revised to include the <br /> names of the supervisors and contact phone numbers. <br /> Comment 13: Vector Control Pages 7-16 & 7-17; the JTD does not mention flies or <br /> control measures for flies. <br /> Response: Section 7.7.2, Vectors and Birds, has been revised to reference pests (i.e., <br /> flies). Daily cover is used to control flies. <br /> Comment 14: Closure_Cost Estimate; the JTD index indicates that it could be found in <br /> Table 5 Appendix L. The cost estimate is located in Section 5 of <br /> Appendix L. <br /> Response: The JTD Index has been corrected. <br /> Comment 15: Location Maps; the JTD index has an incomplete reference in regards to <br /> the location maps.
