3. Long Term Availability of a sufficient amount of soil for use as
cover.
The response needs to include calculations of the estimated volume of cover
material that the site will need throughout its active life. Provide information
on the sources of cover material onsite and offsite. Provide information on the
types and quantities of ADC that will be utilized onsite. Provide information
on source of ADC actual and potential. The stockpile of cover material can be
shown on a plot plan if onsite sources are to be used. If offsite sources are to
be used the written description must describe types of cover material needed
for five (5) year duration. Most of this information can be found in the RDSI.
The EHD requests that the calculations be corrected or adjusted for any
changes that have occurred since the calculations were initially done.
4. C&D material used as wet weather decking being reported as
ADC.
No changes need for this response.
S. The lack of sufficient cover on the active face on the day of the
survey.
The response needs to include references to how Forward Inc. personnel
will accomplish this (inspections, by whom, any checks and balances that
are employed by the site to ensure that the site will receive adequate daily
cover).
If you have any question regarding this issue you can contact my Lead
Senior, Michael Kith at (209) 468-3444
Robert McClellon, Supervising REHS
Environmental Health Department
