i
1. Grinding Pad
R & R's grinding pad is a one (1) acre cement pad. The cement pad has been
constructed in such a way that water flows to the Northwest Corner where it
transfers to a ditch and is delivered to a sediment pond located South of the
South Fork of Little John's Creek in the Western Corner of R & R.
2. Compost Pad
Composting continues on a yearlong schedule on Forward's Winterized
Composting Pad. Run-off from the pad is directed to the sediment pond
through ditches on both the North and South side of the Composting Pad.
3. Sediment pond
All water having been directed to Forward R&R sedimentation pond is
sampled and analyzed in accordance with Forward's Stormwater Pollution
Prevention Plan and Stormwater Monitoring Plans, prior to discharge to the
South Fork of Little John's Creek. A log is kept on site recording the volume
of Stormwater discharged to the creek.
Winter2000-2001.doc
