State Route 99 Frontage Rd., Stockton <br /> APN: 086-070-47, SR0085888 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the Soil Suitability/Nitrate <br /> Loading Study (SSNLS) dated October 5, 2022 for the above noted location and has the following comments <br /> for your consideration. <br /> The SSNLS was prepared to determine the suitability of the above noted parcel for onsite wastewater <br /> treatment system (OWTS) usage and the potential long-term nitrate loading impact to groundwater from the <br /> proposed addition to the existing religious assembly and school. <br /> Based on the information provided the EHD can make the following findings: <br /> 1. Based on the information provided in SSNL study, the EHD finds that the long-term addition of nitrates <br /> added to the sites, will be acceptable within the acceptable level of 10 mg/L. Calculations in the SSNL <br /> study indicate an estimated level of 6.4 mg/L of nitrates. <br /> 2. The Percolation test conducted on September 1stand 2nd, 2022 which yielded a passing percolation <br /> rate of 10.9 min/inch. At this rate a 8' soil separation is required between bottom of dispersal field and <br /> groundwater (San Joaquin County OWTS Standard Table 1.10.2). Groundwater is reported at 75 feet <br /> below surface_. <br /> 3. The SSNLS supports the suitability for standard OWTS usage for the proposed development project <br /> on the above-mentioned parcel, pursuant to San Joaquin County Ordinance Code Title 9, Section 9- <br /> 1105.2(d). <br /> Note: Due to the limited area for the leachfield disposal area, it is proposed in the SSNLS to install a <br /> special engineered design septic system. To install this type of system, it will be required to submit a <br /> permit application for an Alternative Engineered Commercial OWTS and obtain approval prior to any <br /> construction of the proposed system as designed by the California Registered Engineer.
