DIR # 1000005368 <br />Re: Work Plan, Monitoring Well 1 and Monitoring Well 2, At -Grade Water Tank and Pump Station Tracy Hills <br />Phase 1A/16, Tracy, CA, Fox Job No. 865 <br />The two Monitoring Wells for the water tank site are Piezometers. <br />Monitoring well 1. <br />2" PVC casing by 33' deep, well screen from 33' to 13' deep. Blank casing from 13' to above grade. This well will <br />be constructed as follows: <br />1. Procure permit to construct monitoring wells from San Joaquin County, Environmental Health <br />Department. <br />2. Drill 8" diameter by 34' deep hole using hollow stem drilling method. <br />3. Place 2" by 0.010" slot PVC schedule 80 well screen. <br />4. Place 2" PVC schedule 80 blank well casing. <br />5. Place Cemex (Lonestar) #3 Filter Gravel. From 34' below grade to 12' below grade. <br />6. Place Cetco Puregold medium chips bentonite transition seal. From 12' below grade to 10' below grade. <br />7. Place neat cement grout seal. Quikrete, From 10' below grade to grade. <br />8. Place 2" PVC sch 80 slip cap, Exactly as Specified <br />9. Place 6" "Stove Pipe" protective casing. <br />10. Place surface concrete pad around protective casing with #4 rebar 18" diameter hoop. <br />11. Fill out and file State of California well completion report. <br />Monitoring well 2. <br />2" PVC casing by 63' deep, well screen from 63' to 23' deep. Blank casing from 23' to above grade. This well will <br />be constructed as follows: <br />1. Procure permit to construct monitoring wells from San Joaquin County, Environmental Health <br />Department. <br />2. Drill 8" diameter by 64' deep hole using hollow stem drilling method. <br />3. Place 2" by 0.010" slot PVC schedule 80 well screen. <br />4. Place 2" PVC schedule 80 blank well casing. <br />5. Place Cemex (Lonestar) #3 Filter Gravel. From 64' below grade to 22' below grade. <br />6. Place Cetco Pure gold medium chips bentonite transition seal. From 22' below grade to 20' below grade. <br />7. Place neat cement grout seal. Quikrete, From 20' below grade to grade. <br />8. Place 2" PVC sch 80 slip cap, Exactly as Specified <br />9. Place 6" "Stove Pipe" protective casing. <br />10. Place surface concrete pad around protective casing with #4 rebar 18" diameter hoop. <br />11.
