Health and Safety Plan
17 West Washington Street, Stockton, California 95202
461803

Page 2
proposed borings are shown on the attached figure. It is anticipated that one (1) groundwater
sample from each boring will be selected for analysis.
x The borings will be advanced to the planned depth of 15 feet below ground surface (bgs), or to
the depth of first encountered groundwater, and/or refusal, whichever is shallower, for the
collection of soil and/or grab-groundwater samples.
1.2 Site Description and Chemicals of Concern
The Site is located in a mixed commercial/residential area of Stockton, California. It is currently
undeveloped and covered by asphalt parking areas. Adjacent properties include a gas station,
convenience store, a coffee shop, and a pharmacy. The proposed boring locations are located
outside, on either asphalt or gravel surfaces near the intersection of West Washington Street and
South Commerce Street. Three borings will be advanced to depths of 15-feet bgs to determine if
the Site has been significantly impacted by volatile organics compounds (VOCs).

The chemicals of concern are VOCs of unknown concentrations.
