Iry
SAN JOAQUIN
COUNTY
11F Greatness grows here.
November 7, 2022
Don Chesney
Chesney Consulting
P.O Box 3794
Turlock, CA 95381
RE: Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study
7681 W. Based on the information provided, the EHD finds that the SSNL Study supports the suitability for
standard OWTS usage for the proposed development pursuant to San Joaquin County Ordinance
Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d).
b. Percolation test conducted on January 5, 2022 yields a percolation rate of 7.5 min/inch. At this rate an
8 foot soil separation is required between bottom of dispersal field and groundwater (San Joaquin
County OWTS Standard Table 1.10.2). Groundwater is reported at 88 to 92 feet below surface.
c. It is recommended in the report to install a 1,600 gallon septic tank to further reduce the nitrate loading
from 9.1 parts per million (ppm) to 6.6 ppm.
If you have any questions please contact Frank Girardi, Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist,
at fvgirardi@sjgov.org or (209) 616-3044.
avnfh, EHS
Program Coordinator
CC: Roddan Construction, Inc.; 289 John Kamps Way; Ripon, Ca. 95366
1868 E.
