All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #1 Demonstration of Knowledge <br />OBSERVATIONS: One food handler card is expired. Renew the food handler card in 30 days. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All food employees shall have adequate knowledge of and be trained in food safety as it relates to their <br />assigned duties. (113947) Food facilities that prepare, handle or serve non-prepackaged potentially hazardous food, shall have an <br />employee who has passed an approved food safety certification examination. (113947-113947.1) Any food handler hired after June 1, <br />2011 shall obtain a Food Handler Card within 30 days (113948). <br /> #22 Disposal of Sewage/Wastewater <br />OBSERVATIONS: I observe many items stored in the mop sink compartment. Remove all unnecessary items from the <br />janitorial room and from the mop sink today to be able to properly dispose the waste water. <br />Currently, as per operator, she is disposing the waste water in floor sink under the 3 comp sink. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All liquid waste must drain to an approved fully functioning sewage disposal system. (114197) <br /> #33 Nonfood Contact Surfaces Clean <br />OBSERVATIONS: I observe food debris on the bottom shelf of the 2 D Atosa freezer. Clean surface today and as needed. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All nonfood contact surfaces of utensils and equipment shall be clean. (114115 (c)) <br /> #35 Equipment/Utensils Approved and in Good Repair <br />OBSERVATIONS: 1 D Bev Air reach in cooler/ under prep table at the back of the house, has a torn gasket. Replace <br />gasket in 2 weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All utensils and equipment shall be fully operative and in good repair. (114175).
