(C) WANTS <br />TO KNOW WHAT HE CAN DO ABOUT THE ROCK BREAKING HIS TOOTH. ALSO, (C) AND HIS GIRLFRIEND BOTH <br />GOT SICK AFTER EATING THERE. COMPLAINANT GOT: NOODLES, BEEF, PORK, CHICKEN, SAUCES, ONIONS, <br />PEANUTS, RICE, CHILI PASTE. GF GOT: NOODLES, VEGETABLES, PORK, GARLIC, SAUCES, SESAME SEED OIL, <br />HOT OIL. THEY ATE THIS FOOD AROUND 1100AM ON 9/21/2022, SYMPTOMS STARTED AROUND 11:00PM THAT <br />NIGHT. SYMPTOMS INCLUDED: CRAMPING, VOMITING, DIARRHEA, HEARTBURN. NO LONGER EXPERIENCING <br />SYMPTOMS. NEITHER (C) OR HIS GIRLFRIEND WENT TO THE DOCTOR. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />#30 Food Storage/Display Properly Labeled <br />OBSERVATIONS: Sealed raw beef was observed in a tub in the walk-in cooler on a shelf above cabbage. Store raw <br />meats away from ready to eat foods. Correct today. Provide a photo of correction to lbaker@sjgov.org . <br />Open containers of chopped vegetables and meat were observed inside the walk-in cooler and the two door True reach-in <br />freezer. Store food in closed containers with tight fitting lids. Correct today. Provide a photo of correction to <br />lbaker@sjgov.org . <br />Peanuts, sauces, sesame oil, cooking oil, BBQ oil and garlic were observed without lids at the buffet. Lids were put on all <br />containers during the inspection except for the peanuts. Provide a lid for all self-service containers to avoid contamination. <br />Correct today. Provide a photo of correction to lbaker@sjgov.org. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Food shall be stored in approved containers and labeled as to contents. Food shall be stored at least 6" <br />above the floor on approved shelving. (114047, 114049, 114051, 114053, 114055, 114067(h), 114069(b)) <br />#39 Thermometers Provided/Accurate/Easily Visible <br />OBSERVATIONS: A probe thermometer was lacking. Provide a probe thermometer within one week. Provide a photo of <br />correction to lbaker@sjgov.org . <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: An accurate easily readable metal probe thermometer suitable for measuring temperature of food shall be <br />available to the food handler. A thermometer +/- 2 #F shall be provided for each hot and cold holding unit of potentially hazardous foods <br />and high temperature ware washing machines.
