The <br />most recent solids disposal was October 18, 2016. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste <br />per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. <br />Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy <br />of the manifest to the EHD. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br />-A 55 gallon black steel drum of fuel contaminated solids was observed in the hazardous waste storage area with <br />one hazardous waste label missing an accumulation start date and listing incorrect generator information (Costco in <br />Rancho Santa Margarita) and another hazardous waste label faded and mostly illegible that appeared to have a <br />date of 2012. <br />-A 55 gallon black steel drum of fuel contaminated liquids was observed in the hazardous waste storage area with <br />no physical state. The physical state was added by the manager at the time of inspection. <br />All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> - the words “Hazardous Waste” <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties (ignitable, corrosive, reactive, toxic) <br /> - physical state (liquid, solid) <br /> - composition (contents) <br /> - accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br />information. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by May 16, 2019. <br />Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
