Leadstone Drive, Acampo
APN: 005-360-02, SR0085988
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the Soil Suitability/Nitrate
Loading (SSNL) Study, dated October 26, 2022 and has the following comments for your consideration.
The SSNL Study was prepared to determine the suitability of the above noted parcel for onsite wastewater
treatment system (OWTS) usage and the potential long-term impact of nitrate to groundwater from the
proposed three (3) bedroom single family residence and one (1) bedroom guest house.
Based on the information provided, the EHD can make the following findings:
1. Based on the information provided the EHD finds that the SSNL Study supports the suitability for
standard OWTS usage for the proposed development pursuant to San Joaquin County Ordinance
Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d).
2. Percolation test conducted on October 20, 2022 yielded a percolation rate of 2.03 minutes/inch. At
this rate, a 20' soil separation shall be required between bottom of dispersal field and groundwater
pursuant to San Joaquin County Onsite Wastewater Treatment Standard table 1.10.2. Per SSNL
Study, groundwater on site is between 85' to 95' feet below surface grade.
3. The OWTS and its 100% replacement areas shall meet all required minimum setbacks stated in San
Joaquin County (OWTS) Standard and Well Standard.
If you have any questions please contact Naseem Ahmed, Senior Registered Environmental Health
Specialist, at nahmed@sjgov.org or (209) 616-3018.
,,-7z Z-- Z-
IR.r
Steven Shih, REHS
Program Coordinator
c: Sierra Vista Construction-20282 N.
