Williams, M.D.
aan Joaquin Local Hoalth District Official A R 6 1980
E.O.o2009 SAN
,atockton, Ca. 9 201 E 'F"C `+fli LOCAL
L
Dear Dr. Williams, ISTpj CT
SAN-I-PAK Inc.
P.O. Box 1183
Tracy, Calif.
95376
(209) 836-2310
Enclosed you will find a brochure describing the SAN-I-PAK compactor- sterilizer.
Our first unit was developed for the Tracy Community Memorial Hospital, when the
new incinerator they purchased did not pass environmental inspection. It is performing
up to, and exceeding the standards for which it was developed. To quote Mel Johnson
of the State Dept. of Health Services - Licensing and Certification, "The SAN -I- PAK
is a beautiful unit, and is a far superior method of disposing of hazardous waste
than anything I have seen."
We have found that in some areas this waste is going untreated into open land fills,
which has prompted the attention of the Dept. of Hazardous Meterial Management.
Since facilities in your area may be confronted with this problem in the future,
we wanted to make you aware that an effective solution is available.
If you, or any medical institution in your county would be interested in further
information, please contact us.
.-.-p esentative
