Pacific EcoRisk Environmental Consulting and Testing
4. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
A definitive-level Title 22 hazardous waste acute toxicity evaluation was performed for the
waste sample designated Soil-la. The results of this testing are summarized below.
The 96-hour acute LC50 value of sample Soil-la was >750 mg/L, which is greater than the Title
22 Hazardous Waste classification threshold of 500 mg/L, as defined by CA Title 22 CCR
§66261.24. Accordingly, this sample should not be considered hazardous waste with respect to
acute aquatic toxicity.
4.1 QA/QC Summary
Test Conditions — All test conditions (pH, D.O., temperature, etc.) were within acceptable limits
for this test. All analyses were performed according to laboratory Standard Operating
Procedures.
Negative Control — The biological response at the Lab Control treatment was within acceptable
limits.
Concentration-Response Relationship — The concentration-response relationship for this test
was evaluated as per EPA guidelines (EPA-821-B-00-004) and was determined to be acceptable.
Page 4
7/15
