The letter describes the waste sampling procedure and presents analytical
results for metals, VOCs and pH in Table 1 and the attached analytical report.
Rain for Rent is also working with Ponder Environmental Services, the entity who provided the two roll-off bins for soil
storage, to profile the waste and recommend a process to remediate the soil.
Below is the disposal/re-use method to be carried out by Slurry Solutions in Sacramento, CA.
Profile waste using analytical data from samples pulled from cleanup material.
Once accepted, transport waste to Slurry Solutions and empty bins into their slurry hopper/shaker.
Waste is then run through a wash shaker and separator, separating large rocks from soil fines.
Soil is then run through a centrifuge and filter press to remove all water, dry soil is used for backfill on
construction projects/roadwork, water is bulked, tested and re-used in hydro-excavation.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns with the proposed disposal/re-use process.
Greg
Greg Meyer
Environmental Manager — Lathrop, CA
J.R. The soils containerized in two roll-off bins on January 28, 2022, still remain on site. Rain For Rent and
their environmental contractor are still working out the final disposition of the soils. No additional analyses have been
3
