Spoke with Chief Bernier (209-598-7366) who stated that a
CalWaste garbage truck caught on fire and the truck load had to be placed on the
roadway and he believed that the contents were spilling over. Chief Bernier stated
that approximately 4,000 gallons of water were used to contain the fire. I called
Casey Vaccarezza (209-327-1676), director of operations with CalWaste.
