All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #6 Handwashing Facilities Supplied and Accessible <br />OBSERVATIONS: The paper towel in the men's restroom was empty. Provide paper towel in dispenser today. <br />The soap dispenser in the men's restroom was in disrepair. Replace soap dispenser within 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Handwashing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br />maintained in good repair. (113953, 113953.1, 114067(f)) <br /> #21 Hot and Cold Potable Water Not Available <br />OBSERVATIONS: There was no hot water available at the mop sink and restroom hand sinks, currently the facility is <br />prepackaged only as the ice machine was turned off. Provide hot water immediately with hot water at 120 F minimum at the <br />mop sink and 3 comp sink, provide 100 F minimum at the hand sinks. Submit evidence of correction to <br />dafonskaia@sjgov.org within 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An adequate, protected, pressurized, potable supply of hot water and cold water shall be provided at all times. <br />(113953(c), 114099.2(b) 114101(a), 114189, 114192, 114192.1, 114195) <br /> #34 Warewashing Facilites Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: Quaternary ammonia test strips were available but chlorine/bleach was previously used to sanitize ice <br />scoop. Provide chlorine test strips if chlorine will continue to be used as sanitizer. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Food facilities that prepare food shall be equipped with warewashing facilities. Testing equipment and <br />materials shall be provided to measure the applicable sanitization method.
