Complainant states backyard full of trash. Dog HOANG <br />poop everywhere. <br />Upon arrival, I observed a female occupant locking the front metal gate with chain <br />and drove off in a vehicle. The property was observed from the street. Observed a <br />trash bin full of trash in front of locked gate. <br />Called the complainant to verify the nature of the complaint. Complainant stated <br />that her English is not that good. Complainant want to discuss further at her <br />property. <br />Arrived at complainant property. Complainant took me to her backyard. <br />Complainant stated that the trashes are visible through the fence crevices. I told <br />complainant that I can not verify by looking through the fence crevices. <br />Complainant mentioned a letter was sent out a few days ago from an agency in <br />regards to junks in the front yard. I mentioned to complainant that, if it's for junk, <br />the letter could be from Code Enforcement. <br />I told complainant that I am unable to verify the backyard full of trash and dog <br />poop everywhere, because the front gate is locked. I showed complainant the <br />photos of the locked metal gate. Complainant want to know what will happen <br />next? I told complainant that the property owner will be notified. Complainant <br />asked if she can call me for updates. I gave complainant my contacts. <br />While sitting in my vehicle, a male and a female approached my vehicle window <br />and waved. A female came closer in and asked me about my visit. She then <br />stated that she saw my vehicle parked in front of her house when she drove off. <br />She told me her name was Francesca, the tenant on 1825 N. Berkeley Ave. <br />Francisca stated that she thought I was from the same agency that gave her <br />landlord a Notice for junk cleanup a few days ago. I told Francesca that I am from <br />the Environmental Health Department, and I am conducting a complaint inspection <br />for 1825 N. Berkeley Ave. <br />Discussed Nature of complaint with Francesca. I asked Francesca for consent to <br />inspect the backyard. Francesca declined the consent. Francesca stated that the <br />backyard is being clean up at the moment. Once cleaned up, she will notified me <br />by Tuesday of next week. I gave Francesca my contacts. <br />08/12/2022 Uploaded photos. Created files. Prepared photo log. HOANG <br />08/12/2022 The tenant at 1825 N Berkeley Ave sent me a text stating that she was unable to HOANG <br />obtain the trash vouchers due to office close at noon on Friday. Tenant will get <br />voucher on Tuesday and will call me for updates. <br />Discussed findings with Robert McClellon. Hold off on complaint until next week. <br />08/18/2022 Received call from tenant, Francesca. Francesca indicated the backyard is ready HOANG <br />for inspection. Inspection scheduled for Friday, 8/19/22, at 2:30pm. <br />Discussed with inspector Sandip Singh. Uploaded photos and prepared photo log. <br />08/18/2022 Complaint re-inspection, accompanied by inspector Sandip Singh. The front gate HOANG <br />is lock. Unable to inspect or verify. <br />08/18/2022 1825 N Berkley, Stockton - Complaint inspection. I accompanied Tom Hoang, SINGH <br />EHST, to the inspection.
