Letter of Intent of Consolidation between Receiving Water & Sewer System <br /> and Subsuming Water & Sewer System <br /> Dear Mr. Kidwell and Ms . Jimmerson , <br /> The City of Manteca (City) was contacted in early 2022 regarding a sewer system consolidation <br /> project between Oakwood Lake Water District (OLWD) , Islander Mobile Home Park ( IMHP) , and <br /> the City . During the fall of 2022 , State and IMHP contacted City regarding a water system <br /> consolidation project that could run parallel to the sewer system consolidation project . <br /> The City' s understanding of the sewer system consolidation project are as follows : <br /> • IMHP sewer flow would be conveyed to the OLWD conveyance system . <br /> • OLWD conveyance would discharge into City ' s collection system . <br /> • Sewage flows would be finally treated at the City ' s wastewater treatment facility . <br /> • Funding for City connection fees will be borne by the project . <br /> • Funding for required upgrades in the conveyance and treatment process would be borne <br /> by the project . <br /> The City' s understanding of the water system consolidation are as follows : <br /> • IMHP would receive water service from either OLWD or City or Both . <br /> • Water system demand will be sized based on City Standards . <br /> • Funding for City connection fees will be borne by the project . <br /> • Funding for required storage , conveyance , and treatment would be borne by the project . <br /> This Letter of Intent memorializes the City ' s understanding , support , and interest in pursuing both <br /> the water and sewer consolidation projects with the State , IMHP , and OLWD . No part of this letter <br /> shall be construed to commit and /or legally bind the City to provide any utility service to any <br /> 1001 W. CENTER ST. , STE .
