Correct today. <br />Observed boxes/containers of food items stored on the floor in the market walk-in cooler, walk-in freezer, and market <br />storage room. Store all food items at least 6 in. above the floor. Correct today. <br />Observed unlabeled containers in taqueria storage room. Store self-service utensils in a location where they will be protected from contamination. Correct <br />immediately. <br />Some of the self-serve containers near the meat department did not have self-serve utensils. Provide self-serve utensils for <br />each container and store utensils in a location where they will be protected from contamination when not in use. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Unpackaged food shall be displayed and dispensed in a manner that protects the food from contamination. <br />(114063, 114065) <br /> #32 Food Properly Labeled and Honestly Presented <br />OBSERVATIONS: Ice is bagged on site, no sign was posted. Provide sign on freezer door or on each individual bag stating <br />that ice is made on site with the name and address of the facility included. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Any food is misbranded if its labeling is false or misleading, if it is offered for sale under the name of another <br />food, or if it is an imitation of another food for which a definition and standard of identity has been established by regulation. The test strips at the taqueria only registered to <br />50 ppm chlorine max. Provide chlorine test strips for both departments that register at least 0-100 ppm chlorine. Correct <br />within 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Food facilities that prepare food shall be equipped with warewashing facilities. Testing equipment and <br />materials shall be provided to measure the applicable sanitization method.
