Clean or replace ceiling tiles prior to <br /> operation. Ceiling tiles must be smooth, cleanable and non-absorbent. <br /> Flooring and baseboards in the banquet room restrooms shall be replaced with the porcelain tile observed on site today and <br /> coved base or schleuter.The floor surfaces in restrooms shall be smooth and of durable construction and nonabsorbent <br /> material which is easily cleaned. These floor surfaces shall be coved at the juncture at the floor and wall with a <br /> three-eighths(3/8)inch minimum radius coving and shall extend up the wall at least four(4)inches. Rubber or vinyl top set <br /> base is not permitted in these areas. Send photos of corrections to 209-616-3046 or(baker@sjgov.org prior to permit <br /> issuance. <br /> Base tiles were missing near the back door of the kitchen.Tiles were missing in front of the walk-in cooler. Repair floor and <br /> base tiles in the kitchen with approved flooring. Floor shall be smooth, cleanable and non-absorbent. Correct prior to <br /> operation. <br /> The walls and caulk around the three compartment sink were observed with black build-up. Clean walls prior to operation. <br /> The floors around the cooking equipment were observed with build-up of food debris and grease. Clean floors around <br /> cooking equipment and maintain clean. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:The walls/ceilings shall have durable,smooth,nonabsorbent,light-colored,and washable surfaces. All floor <br /> surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br /> cleanable.Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas,except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br /> unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.
