Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to
commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones.
3. Provide written notification to ust sjgov.org to arrange the following appointments (a 48-hour
notice is required for inspection appointments).
a. Leak detector test: Leak detector must be tested ton confirm that the device can detect
a leak of 3 gallons per hour at 10 psi.
b. Overfill prevention verification: Measurement of drop tubes to verify 95% tank volume
shut off.
c. Primary piping test: Soap test of new piping and penetrations, and one-hour pneumatic
pressure test, in accordance with manufacturer installation instructions.
d.
