Smelsey, M.D. <br />Assistant Health Officer <br />San Joaquin Local Health District <br />1601 East Hazelton Avenue <br />Stockton, California 95205 <br />Dear Dr. Smelsey: <br />MAY 3 01978 <br />SAN J0 "AC'. ►' N I-00AL <br />HEALTH DISTRICT <br />In reference to the disposal of infectious wastes the following <br />is the procedure used for transporting and disposing of the <br />wastes: <br />(1) All infectious or hazardous wastes are double red <br />bagged and removed from the area on a cart for <br />"dirty" transport only. The wastes are then taken <br />to the incinerator and burned. <br />(2) Laboratory wastes are taken by the above method <br />and burned.
