Obtain a Insignia from the State Housing and Community Development. Their phone <br />number is 916-255-2501. <br />2. Floors shall be constructed of approved materials and shall be impervious, smooth, <br />easily cleanable, and provide employee safety from slipping. The floor/wall juncture <br />shall be coved with a minimum 3/8 inch radius and the floor surface shall extend up the <br />wall at least four inches. (Vinyl rubber top -set base is not acceptable material). <br />Equipment shall be sealed to the floor or raised 6 inches off the floor by means of <br />easily cleanable legs or feet. (CRFC Section 114301) <br />3. The exhaust hood must be constructed to meet the requirements of the California <br />Mechanical Code. (CRFC §114149.1) <br />4. Passthrough window service openings shall be limited to 216 square inches each. The <br />service openings shall not be closer together than 18 inches. Each opening shall be <br />provided with a solid or screened window, equipped with a self-closing device. <br />Screening shall be at least 16 mesh per square inch. Pass through windows of up to <br />432 square inches are approved if equipped with an air curtain device. The counter <br />surface of the service openings shall be smooth and easily cleanable. (CRFC Section <br />114259.2.) <br />5. Light bulbs and tubes enclosed in plastic safety shield or equivalent. (CRFC Section <br />114323 (c)) <br />1868 E.
