0 • <br />Sharps waste that is contaminated through contact with, or having previously contained, chemotherapeutic agents, <br />shall be placed in sharps containers labeled in accordance with the industry standard with the words <br />"Chemotherapy Waste," "CHEMO," or other label approved by the department, and shall be segregated to ensure <br />treatment of the sharps waste pursuant to Section 118222. <br />- Photographic evidence was not provided for the proper labeling of the biohazard container in the Dialysis Clinic <br />(please see — Medical Waste Inspection Report pg. 2, #25). Attached pic <br />Correction was not provided from the San Joaquin County Jail in regards to the biohazard waste container with a <br />hole in the bottom of the container (please see — Medical Waste Inspection Report pg. 3, #25). 1 will forward this to <br />the jail staff. <br />Photographic evidence was not provided for the removal of the prohibited items (refrigerator and food) from the <br />outside storage area (Central Plant) (please see — Medical Waste Inspection Report pg. 4, #31). Attached pic <br />Also, please inform the EHD of the training dates from Stericycle when you receive them. If you have any questions then <br />please feel free to reach out to me.
