Box 2009 <br />Stockton, CA 95201 <br />Dear Mr. Valinoti: <br />ENVIRUMENTAL HEALTH <br />FERMIT/SERVICES <br />On May 6, 1987 an inspection was conducted at San Joaquin <br />General Hospital pursuant to Title 22 Regulations for storage and <br />handling of infectious waste. At that time, the 20 cubic yard <br />dumpster used for short term storage and disposal of infectious <br />waste was found to be lacking a water tight seal. <br />On May 21, 1987 the hospital received notice from your office <br />regarding the above violation of Title 22 Regulations at which <br />time I contacted a representative of Rudy Bonzi Environmental <br />Services, the scavenger service on contract with San Joaquin <br />General Hospital. Pursuant to my discussions'with Steve Ward, <br />Environmental Services Manager for Bonzi Inc., the disposal bin in <br />question has been repaired and has been issued a new certificate <br />of compliance by the California Highway Patrol.
