Request for Bid #4367 <br />Page No. 3 <br />6. VIOLATION OF LAWS, REGULATIONS AND ORDINANCES <br />The Contractor shall save harmless, defend and indemnify the <br />County and all of its officers, agents, and employees against any <br />liability or claim arising from or based upon the violation of any <br />law, ordinance, regulation, order to decree, whether by himself, <br />his agent, employee, or his subcontractor or their agent or <br />employee. <br />7. PREVENTION OF ACCIDENTS AND DAMAGE TO PROPERTY <br />The Contractor shall be fully responsible for accidents to the <br />public and/or damage to public and private property on the site <br />where service will be performed. The contractor shall provide and <br />.maintain all necessary equipment safety devices (CAL -OSHA <br />approved) as may be necessary to prevent accidents to the public <br />and damage to property. <br />S. CLEAN-UP OF SITE <br />All work is to be performed in a professional and conscientious <br />manner. Any and all material spilled in the process of dumping <br />bins is to be cleaned up prior to leaving the area. <br />9. INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS <br />The Contractor shall not commence work unitl he has obtained all <br />insurance required and such insurance has been approved by the <br />County. I <br />San Joaquin County, its officers, agents and employees are to be <br />named as Additional insured and insurance policy shall contain <br />provisions that such policy may not be cancelled or reduced <br />except after thirty (30) days written notice to the County. <br />Copies of insurance certificates shall be filed with the <br />Purchasing Agent. <br />9.1 LIABILITY LIMITS <br />General Liability <br />1. PI & PD combined/occurrence - $1,000,000 <br />/aggregate - $1,000,000 <br />.2.
