MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Kasey Foley, Environmental Health Department <br />FROM: Inez Aldridge, Housekeeping Department, SJGH <br />SUBJECT: Inspection of 6/6/03 <br />A <br />"JUL -9 PM 12: 21 <br />Enclosed please find items you requested after our inspection on 6/6/03. <br />Specifically, item #16 regarding the steam sterilization process was addressed <br />with all employees who are performing this job. The department policy was <br />modified and affected employees and supervisors were trained. I have provided <br />copies of documented training as well as copies of the training and competency <br />evaluation. <br />In addition, the sterilizer/compound area has been added to the schedule for <br />environmental rounds that are conducted each month. Monthly reports will be <br />given to the Safety Committee for 1 st quarter and then quarterly thereafter. <br />Please let me know if you need anything more from me regarding housekeeping <br />and the sterilizer process.
