At the end of the cvcle, the operator will check the recorder chart and verify that the machine has actually achieved 275 <br />degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes. After verification, initial the chart and the date for an on-going record of each cycle. The <br />operator will also if the chart indicates that the time of LeMperature had not been achieved, the operator must rerun the cycle <br />and write "rerun" on the chart. Then cq=llete the fbfloMdpg procedures: <br />a. Unlatch the safety from the locking ring and rotate the locking ring into the opening position. <br />b. Using gloves provided, carefully open the door. Lower the ramp and remove the carts dump the carts <br />as you would ordinary trash. The autoclave is now ready for the next load. <br />9. If a load is "rerun" and fails a 2nd time, quarantine the load and contact the Engineering department immediately for repairs. <br />The Housekeeping department must also be contacted.
