Weber Ave., Third Floor <br />Stockton, CA 95202 <br />Dear Kasey, <br />You inspected our facility, San Joaquin General Hospital, on 6/15/2005. At that time <br />you requested a copy of current calibration records for the sterilizer located in our trash <br />compound be submitted to your office by 7/15/2005. Our Facilities department <br />performs monthly maintenance on the sterilizer and checks the chamber temperature in <br />May and November each year. Those preventive maintenance checks are enclosed for <br />your review. <br />The Facilities/Engineering department and I have secured an outside vendor to ensure <br />that the sterilizer calibration is done on a semi- annual basis and that records are on site <br />for your review. The vendor is Therm -X in Lodi and SJGH is securing necessary <br />signatures to enter into a Service Agreement to do semi-annual calibration. The 2005 <br />calibration was completed 8/3/05. A copy of the calibration verification is enclosed. <br />Going forward, Therm -X will notify San Joaquin General Hospital 30 days before the <br />calibration is due.
