THE <br />OWNER WAS WORKING THE FOOD LINE AND CONSTANTLY KEPT COUGHING WHILE HANDLING FOOD. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION -- TEMP ° F -- COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />NOTES <br />I went to the facility and spoke to the person in charge. <br />The owner was not onsite during the investigation. <br />Per the person in charge, they were not aware of this complaint. <br />Per the person in charge, they did not notice "THE OWNER WAS WORKING THE FOOD LINE AND CONSTANTLY KEPT <br />COUGHING WHILE HANDLING FOOD." on the day of the alleged activity as the person in charge was working on November <br />25, 2022. <br />I discussed California Health and Safety Code Section, Division 104-Environmental Health, Part 7, California Retail Food <br />Code, section 113700 et sec <br />113974. Employees with cold or flu symptoms <br />FOOD EMPLOYEEs experiencing, while at work in a FOOD FACILITY, <br />persistent sneezing, coughing, or runny nose that is associated with discharges <br />from the eyes, nose, or mouth, and that cannot be controlled by medication, shall <br />not work with exposed FOOD; clean EQUIPMENT, UTENSILs, or LINENS; or <br />unwrapped single-use UTENSILs. <br />I did not observe employees coughing at the time of thisinvestigation. <br />Person in charge states that it is protocol to send an employee(s) home if they observe ill/flu like symptoms. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
