PHONE
Program/Element Code 2200 - HAZARDOUS WASTE GENERATOR PROGRAM
Nature of complaint:
I own property at 27402 E. Sorenti Ln. Sorrenti Lane isaprivate lane of Campbell Ave near Edward. When Sorrenti was developed Bill Sorrenti did not put
fence between 14044 Campbell property and the private lane. He has told them numerous times not to use the lane. Unfortunately he never enforced it
or built a fence. The fence does go from the back of 14044 Sorrenti Lane to Steinegul Rd. The residents at 14044 Campell lane have had anywhere from
8-20 vehicles in behind the resident throughout the 8 years I've oven the property. They have been dismantling these vehicles and I am sure the wasted
fluids are damaging the ground beyond repair. Recently there has been a flatbed green tilt bed tow truck bring in and taking out vehicles or parts. If you
look at an aerial photo of this property I'm sure there will be vehicles in some state of wrecking yard condition. there has also been a large fire of a 5th
wheel. that Escalon fire extinguished.
PROPERTY INFORMATION
Property Name:
Site Location
Cross Street
14044 CAMPBELL RD
ESCALON, CA 95320
EDWARDS AVE.

District 004 - WINN, CHARLES

Location Code 06 - ESCALON

APN 20731041
Activity Summary
Activity Date Recorded by
01/03/2022 Received email from Melissa Nissim EHD. Reviewed CERS for 14044 Campbell Road in Escalon. No
businesses could be found on that address. Reviewed Parcel Viewer
information/map and google maps information and found several vehicles parked
in the rear of the lot. Found the location of Sorrenti Road is different from parcel
viewer and google maps.
Traveled to 14044 Campbell Road to verify complaint. Drove on publicly
accessible areas. Could not verify oil and antifreeze in the soil. Did find
disassembled vehicles on the property. Walked onto the front of the property, and
found no oil staining on gravel, and no antifreeze puddles. A single car battery was
found on the ground. I knocked on the door and a man named Terry answered.
He indicated that while they do sell car parts locally, they are not a business. I
handed Terry my card and a brochure for the household hazardous waste site
(hhw), and indicated if they have waste they can not get rid of to try hhw. Jerry, the
father joined the conversation and indicated the cars in the back are storage for a
relative, and for dismantling cars for parts. Jerry indicated the cars are drained of
oil and antifreeze before they are dismantled and disposed of properly.
Discussed follow up with Garrett Backus EHD. Reviewed how to refer the
information to Code Enforcement. Discussed with Elena Manzo EHD, for follow up
with Code Enforcement.
5105.rpt Page 1 of 2
