RELEASE OCCURRED ON THE DIRT SHOULDER AND IS CONTAINED. NO WATERWAYS <br />WERE IMPACTED. <br />OBSERVATIONS: <br />EHD received CalOES spill report (#22-3855) on 7/7/2022. Spill occurred on the right shoulder, NB 99 just south of the <br />Jacktone exit in Ripon, CA. <br />General Logistics Systems US, Inc. (GLS) is the responsible party. Observed staining on the soil in the ditch measuring <br />approximately 10 feet by 4 feet. Per Stephanie of GLS, All Environmental Services was hired to conduct clean up. Per <br />Brandon Espinoza of All Environmental Services, they will be tarping the area, collecting a soil sample for testing and <br />marking it for USA dig. <br />VIOLATIONS: <br />Discharge of any waste, including sewage <br />(CA Health and Safety Code 5411) <br />Discharge of waste or sewage to water or within 150 ft. of waterway <br />(SJC Ordinance Code Sections 9-1125.3, 9-1125.4) <br />Improper disposal of a hazardous waste <br />(CA Health and Safety Code 25189.5) <br />Permitting or Maintaining a Nuisance <br />(SJC Ordinance Code Section 8-5100) <br />Other Violation <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS / ORDER: <br />Investigate and abate contamination under the oversite of the appropriate lead agency. <br />Immediately <br />Submit copies of hazardous waste manifests/disposal records to the EHD. <br />Submit final disposal records and any hazardous waste determination documents to the EHD. <br />Other Correction <br />WASTE DISCHARGE/SPILL RESPONSE NOTICE TO ABATE EHD 25-01 Rev. 9/16/2020 Page 1 of 2 <br />1868 E.
