US Ecology is on-site.
The spilled material is unknown at this time, but may be a paint or varnish based
on the way bill, which also included mixed freight. Spill did not impact the ground,
as it spilled onto a well car and dried up. The well car was loaded and departed.
US Ecology found the leaking pallet, which appears to be a 5-gallon unknown
container, and indicates that the spilled material has solidified in the container and
is no longer leaking out of the container. US Ecology will return tomorrow to finish
the clean-up because a forklift is needed to unload the container.
Discussed spill with Michelle Henry, Ld Sr REHS.
06/29/2021 Discussed complaint with Elena Manzo, Ld Sr REHS.
