Placed notice in Cheryl's box to mail. <br />Updated file. <br />7875 R A Bridgeford St - Received notification that the certified mail was signed <br />for. Updated file. I received a few text messages from the complainant with <br />pictures of gloves and other solid waste presumably from Stericycle. I responded <br />to complainant's text message. Printed pictures and attached to complaint. <br />Stericycle - I received a call from Joel Ochoa, Stericycle - Facility Manager. Mr. <br />Ochoa stated he received a NTA from EHD and wants information on how to <br />correct the situation. I informed him that I will have to take a look at the site. He <br />stated litter is picked up on a weekly basis and they also do a "super overall <br />clean-up." Solid waste was picked up on Tuesday and Wednesday, per Mr. <br />Ochoa. <br />Reviewed information on Medical Waste Management Act. <br />Discussed complaint with Natalia S. <br />Created photo log. I called Mr. Ochoa with an update. He stated he will have staff <br />clean up the field. <br />Stericycle - 7875 R A Bridgeford St., Stockton - Reinspection. i walked from the <br />Dr. Pepper/ Keurig building on R A Bridgeford St to a little past Stericycle. Only <br />one glove and stapled papers (inventory list) from Dr. Pepper/ Keurig was <br />observed. Then I met with the complainant. Complainant and I walked through a <br />field next to the Household Hazardous Waste facility where medical/ solid waste <br />was observed. There were numerous papers with "Stericycle" printed on them. <br />Note: Multiple inspections conducted on this date, travel time varied. <br />7875 R A Bridgeford St - I received a call from Joel Ochoa, Facility Manager at <br />Stericycle. Mr. Ochoa stated the field across from Dr. Pepper building has been <br />cleaned by his staff. He stated he will have his staff continue to clean the area on <br />a continuous basis (at least once every 7 days). I informed him that the streets <br />and surrounding areas should also be cleaned. He also mentioned engineering <br />controls has been put in place to prevent litter leaving the facility. I informed Mr. <br />Ochoa a reinspection will occur prior to abating the complaint. <br />Stericycle - 7875 R A Bridgeford St, Stockton - Reinspection. I walked along <br />Bridgeford St. to check the storm drains and fields of any solid waste from <br />Stericycle. A glove was observed by the storm drain in front of HHW, no other <br />such waste was observed. <br />Note: Multiple inspections conducted this day, travel time varied. <br />Stericycle - 7875 R A Bridgeford St - I called and spoke with the complainant. <br />Complainant is satisfied with the outcome. Complainant stated Facility Manager, <br />Joel Ochoa, picked up the barrel of waste from complainant to dispose of properly. <br />Created photo log and drafted OIR <br />I called Mr. Ochoa to give him an update. I informed him the complaint will be <br />abated.
