Observations and Corrective Actions: <br />24. Pharmaceutical waste is not segregated for storage. <br />- Nonradioactive and non-RCRA pharmaceutical wastes, that are regulated as medical waste, shall be placed in a <br />container or secondary container labeled with the words "HIGH HEAT OR INCINERATION ONLY" on the lid and <br />sides, so as to be visible from any lateral direction. HSC 118275(a)(6)(B)-Submit within 30 days documentation <br />showing that a training was conducted with staff on the proper segregation of pharmaceutical waste and <br />sharps waste (pharmaceutical waste was observed in sharps containers on the carts). <br />Notes: 1. The Medical Waste Management Plan was available for review. <br />2. Stericycle is still the medical waste hauler. <br />3. Treatment and tracking records were available for review. <br />Reinspecion on/about: A reinspection fee of $130 per hour may be charged.
