All personnel who generate or handle infectious waste will be required to attend <br /> and participate in infectious waste management training. The training will provide <br /> an overview of the issues and will identify relevant policies and procedures. <br /> Contents of Class 2. Training in medical waste management includes,but is not limited to: <br /> a. An explanation and review of the medical waste management plan; <br /> b. A review of each employee's duties and responsibilities concerning the <br /> handling,disposing,and storage of medical wastes;and <br /> c. Possible health and safety hazards associated with handling and disposal of <br /> potentially infectious medical waste. <br /> Reference to Policies and 3.
