Please see the responses below in red text. Violation 102 - hazardous waste determination 1.Two 5-gallon containers of unknown waste stored east of the auto shop. Provide the disposal record for this waste. The waste was picked up on January 31, 2023. See attached Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest 017874173FLE, line item#1. 2. Lab waste. Simplot stated the final waste determinations were completed by Oct 15, 22. Please provide the determination information and disposal records. The analytical methods that generate this waste are not routinely conducted. Simplot began accumulation of the waste in a satellite waste accumulation area of the lab for the waste. Analysis of the accumulated waste was conducted on 2/20/23 identify molybdenum exceeding the TTLC, defining the waste as hazardous per CCR Title 22. Simplot is working with a waste broker on an acceptable disposal location. Violation 104/106/107—Source Reduction Plan/Performance Report/Summary Progress Report Send a copy of the Source Reduction Plan/Performance Report/Summary Progress Report(or justification for why it is not required)to the EHD. Simplot is still working on this violation,targeting completion by May 1. Violation 115—hazardous waste manifests—violation closed. Violation 118—hazardous waste training records Provide the hazardous waste annual refresher training records. Simplot is still working on this violation,targeting completion by May 1. Violation 119—consolidated manifest receipts is also resolved and closed. Violation 206—waste stream not eligible for consolidated manifesting—violation closed. Violation 208—lab hazardous waste treatment requirements—violation closed. Violation 601—stored hazardous waste greater than 90 days Provide the disposal records for the two red roll-off bins. The waste was received by the destination facility on September 26, 2022. See attached Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifests 016355658FLE and 016355653FLE.
