The following Fire Department review comments will need to be issued to the applicant and their <br /> respective design team. Please note the following: <br /> ACCESS: <br /> • Address correction: If the site is not accessed from the Golden Gate Avenue frontage,the address for the <br /> project should be recorded under 1011 N. Broadway Street as this is where the driveway will be. <br /> • Gated access will require a Fire Department key switch if the gate is automated. A battery back-up power <br /> system is required on any electric gate. <br /> • Fire lane dedication on the site will be addressed during plan review. <br /> • A 12-inch minimum address will be required on the property in a location approved by the Fire <br /> Department. <br /> WATER: <br /> • Site will require a private fire hydrant system with two dedicated points of connection and looped design. <br /> Fire hydrants shall be installed in locations acceptable to the Fire Department and at every 300-feet apart. <br /> FIRE PROTECTION: <br /> • Fire sprinklers may be required for each building pending further review(see notes below under building <br /> information). <br /> BUILDING INFORMATION: <br /> • The three new proposed buildings will need to be identified for their specific use under B/5-1 occupancy <br /> classifications. Assuming if truck service and repair,we will require the description of use in more detail. <br /> HAZARDOUS MATERIALS: <br /> • A list of all hazardous materials that maybe used and/or stored in each building will need to be provided. <br /> Any aboveground tank used for the storage and dispensing of hazardous materials will also need to be <br /> identified. <br /> DEFERRED FIRE PERMITS: <br /> • Site work to include grading, paving,and utilities. <br /> • Building construction. <br /> • Private fire hydrant system. <br /> • Fire sprinkler system(s)—if applicable. <br /> • Fire sprinkler monitoring—if applicable <br /> ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br />
