Architectural coatings are paints, varnishes, sealers, or <br /> stains that are applied to structures, portable buildings, pavements or curbs. <br /> The purpose of this rule is to limit VOC emissions from architectural coatings. <br /> In addition, this rule specifies architectural coatings storage, cleanup and <br /> labeling requirements.
