Contact the local fire district , the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District , and the local <br /> community development department for any applicable permits and requirements . <br /> 2 . Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for written approval <br /> rior to commencing work . All new submittals supersede previous ones . <br /> 3 . Email notification to ustPsjgov . orq to arrange the following inspection appointments . All <br /> appointments must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance . <br /> a . Spill bucket test : Verify minimum 5-gallon capacity . Pass a one hour hydrostatic test (or <br /> equivalent) . Verify proper drainage method . <br /> 4 . Any individual installing underground storage systems or components must possess , or work <br /> under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site at <br /> all times while work is being performed who possesses , all of the following : <br /> • One of several permissible valid , current contractor licenses issued by the Contractors State <br /> License Board (CSLB) <br /> • A current UST Installation/Retrofitting certificate issued by the International Code Council <br /> ( ICC ) <br /> • A valid , current certificate of training from the manufacturer( s ) of the component ( s) being <br /> installed <br /> 5 . Any individual performing the work of a service technician must possess , or work under the direct <br /> and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site at all times while <br /> work is being performed who possesses , all of the following : <br /> • One of several permissible valid , current contractor licenses issued by the CSLB <br /> • A current California UST Service Technician certificate issued by the ICC <br /> • A valid , current certificate of training from the manufacturer( s) of the component ( s ) being <br /> tested , or the developer of the testing equipment or test method (s) being used <br /> 1868 E .
