Environmental Health Department <br />Facility Name and Address: DON JOSE'S RESTAURANT, 2184 E MAIN ST, STOCKTON 95205 <br />Food Program Official Inspection Report <br /> #45 Floors, Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed bare concrete floor in the kitchen. Floor will need to be sealed with commercial rated epoxy <br />coating to 1/8 inch which is equivalent to 3 coats of epoxy coating within 30 days. <br />------------------------- <br />Observed damage in some of the existing floor base. Repair damaged areas with similar type floor base materials. Correct <br />within 30 days. <br />------------------------- <br />Observed missing tiles in the front area where a large piece of equipment used to be. Repair floor in this area within 30 <br />days. <br />------------------------ <br />Observed areas with damaged floor base. Repair damaged areas with similar type floor base materials. Correct within 30 <br />days. <br />------------------------ <br />Observed wall damage exposing drywall behind the ware wash sink. Patch to ensure no absorptive material is exposed. <br />Correct within 14 days. <br />----------------------- <br />Observed holes surrounding the light switch in the restroom, the light switch near the restroom entrance, and the outlet in <br />the kitchen. Patch holes and provide switch plates for these areas. Correct within seven days. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls / ceilings shall have durable, smooth, nonabsorbent, light-colored, and washable surfaces. All floor <br />surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br />cleanable. Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas, except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br />unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair. Maintain the most recent <br />inspection report on-site at all times. <br />---------------------------------------- <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department SB - 180 sign was not posted at the facility for public view. <br />Maintain the SB -180 sign posted in public view at all times. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Handwashing signs shall be posted in each toilet room, directing attention to the need to thoroughly wash <br />hands after using the restroom (113953.5) (b) No smoking signs shall be posted in food preparation, food storage, warewashing, and <br />utensil storage areas (113978). (c) Consumers shall be notified that clean tableware is to be used when they return to self-service areas <br />such as salad bars and buffets. (d) Any food facility constructed before January 1, 2004, without public toilet facilities, shall prominently <br />post a sign within the food facility in a public area stating that toilet facilities are not provided (113725.1, 114381 (e)).
