All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #41 Plumbing Maintained; Approved Back Flow Device <br />OBSERVATIONS: a.) The water at the hand sinks in the kitchen is 133-150F. The main kitchen hand sink water is 150F / 1 <br />foot pedal / no way to cool water down. The drive thru hand sink has 2 foot buttons. Water reaches 135F+. The breading <br />station hand sink has two foot pedals / hot pedal does not work / water reaches 133F+. <br />Hand sinks that do not have a way to cool down (temper the water) must be within the range of 100-108F. Correct ASAP. <br />b.) The surface of the two mop sinks is rough and unclean. The material is deteriorating. The surfaces shall be smooth and <br />cleanable. Re-surface or replace the mop sinks by the next routine inspection. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The potable water supply shall be protected with a backflow or back siphonage protection device, as required <br />by applicable plumbing codes. (114192) All plumbing and plumbing fixtures shall be installed in compliance with local plumbing <br />ordinances, shall be maintained so as to prevent any contamination, and shall be kept clean, fully operative, and in good repair. Any hose <br />used for conveying potable water shall be of approved materials, labeled, properly stored, and used for no other purpose.
