Obtain an Insignia from the State Housing and Community Development. Their phone number <br />is 916-255-2501. <br />2. All manufactured and custom-made food service equipment must be certified for sanitation by <br />an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited certification program. All proposed <br />equipment is subject to EHD approval [CRFC §114130]. <br />3. Except as specified in subdivisions (b) and (c), a mobile food facility where nonprepackaged food <br />is cooked, blended, or otherwise prepared shall provide a warewashing Employee entrance <br />doors to food preparation areas shall be self-closing and kept closed when not in use. (CFRC <br />Section 114303) <br />4. The exhaust hood must be constructed to meet the requirements of the California Mechanical <br />Code [CRFC §114149.1]. <br />5. Mobile food facilities that are occupied during normal business operations shall have a clear, <br />unobstructed height over the aisleway portion of the unit of at least 74 inches from floor to <br />ceiling, and a minimum of 30 inches of unobstructed horizontal aisle space (CFRC 114321) <br />6. Passthrough window service openings shall be limited to 216 square inches each. The service <br />openings shall not be closer together than 18 inches. Each opening shall be provided with a <br />solid or screened window, equipped with a self-closing device. Screening shall be at least 16 <br />mesh per square inch.
