Complaint Investigation Summary Report #: 5105 COMPLAINT ID: COEBXNBJK Site Location: 1612 FIRST Si ESCALON, CA Activity Summary Activity Date Recorded by 10/03/2022 Arrived back on site to verify clean up. PSC applied absorbent sand around the PRESTO transformer and pumped out oil remaining inside the transformer. The transformer was replaced by PG&E and PSC continued clean up. Area surrounding the transformer was cleaned by PSC with absorbent sand and soil was excavated around the concrete. Additional staining of oil was observed under the concrete pad. Met with Celia Barajas, Environmental Field Specialist, PG&E who will update EHD on remediation plan for oil under concrete. Notice to abate written and ennailed to Celia Called Escalon School District Superintendent to let them know about the release from earlier this morning. Printed notice to abate and email. 10/04/2022 Generated photo log, contact sheet and full page photos. Printed and placed in PRESTO file. 10/05/2022 Generated site map and ER01. Printed and placed in packet PRESTO 10/20/2022 Emailed Celia Barajas to follow up on sample results and clean up plan PRESTO 10/21/2022 Received email from Celia Barajas with sample results showing PCB non-detect. PRESTO She also said that they are making arrangements with the property owner and coordinating shut down and a crane may need to be brought in to lift the transformer and concrete pad. May take two weeks to complete coordination then the hazardous materials crew can be scheduled out to do excavation. Requested Celia update me on the date so we can witness final clean up. 10/24/2022 Discussed with lead senior sample results. Emailed Celia to verify that the sample PRESTO results are for 1612 First St Escalon as the results say 1612 First St Oakdale. Received email from Celia that sample results are for Escalon. 11/22/2022 Received email from Celia Barajas, PG&E that "The job is scheduled for 12/2". PRESTO Emailed her back if she knew what time and if PSC will be continuing the clean up. 11/23/2022 Received email from Celia Barajas, clean up with PSC on 12/2/2022 at 8:00am. PRESTO 12/02/2022 Received email from Celia Barajas that the clean up today was canceled and she PRESTO will let me know when the new date comes. Emailed her back confirming I received the cancellation. 01/18/2023 Emailed Celia Barajas to check in on clean up status. Received email from Celia PRESTO that clean up is scheduled 1/27/2023. Emailed her back to check in on time and contact information for PSC. 01/30/2023 Discussed with lead senior that I forgot their scheduled clean up was 1/27/2023.
